Do I need to be home for the estimate?
For exterior work like roofing or concrete, not necessarily, though it helps if you want to walk through the findings with me. For anything interior, yes.
How soon can you start once I approve the quote?
Usually one to three weeks depending on the season and material lead times. Late summer and fall are our busiest stretch, so if you're planning ahead, earlier is better.
Do you give second opinions on another contractor's quote?
All the time, free of charge. Bring me the quote and I'll tell you straight whether it's fair, even if the answer means you should stick with them.
